Staffordshire Sexual Health Services

The new local Patient Group Direction (PGD) for emergency contraception (Ulipristal acetate and Levonorgestrel) and Chlamydia treatment (Azithromycin and Doxycycline) have now been approved and will replace the existing PGDs effective from August 1st 2024. A letter detailing key changes to the PGDs can be found below.
The lead organisation is Central Health Solutions, who are responsible for arranging sub contracts with pharmacy contractors, liaising with the Local Authority and managing payments to community pharmacies. Recording and claiming for the four sexual health services is through a revised PharmOutcomes module. Note that there are revised questions to ask the patient, mainly around safeguarding.
If you have any issues with the contract then they can be contacted at    admin@1centralhealth.co.uk
The SLA, which all pharmacies will need to sign in order to provide any or all of the service can be found below:-
