The Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery Service (STaRS) Service Specification was updated on 1st April 2024 and is in place until 31st March 2027. The service is being provided by Inclusion and the specification can be found on the link above.

Stoke-on-Trent Observed Consumption

From 1st April 2024, Substances Misuse services in Stoke-on-Trent are commissioned by Stoke-on-Trent Council and will be delivered by WithYou and BAC O’Connor (BAC). NSCHT will continue to generate substitute prescriptions until 31st March 2024. These prescriptions will extend beyond 31st March and finish at different times in April and WithYou will start to generate prescriptions for clients previously prescribed by NSCHT in April, to take effect as the NSCHT prescriptions come to an end. These will either be sent to you or be given directly to clients. Any prescriptions sent will be via Royal Mail’s “signed for” special delivery next day service. More information on the transition from NSCHT to WithYou can be found in their letter to pharmacies.
