Targeted Lung Screening
The NHS is rolling out targeted lung screening across England. Lung health checks are available in parts of The Midlands, along with other areas of England.
Patients may be invited if all the following apply:
- live in an area where lung health checks are currently offered
- aged between 55 and 74
- registered with a GP surgery
- current or former smoker
For the West Midlands, this service is being piloted by the West Midlands Cancer Alliance. and the service is being piloted in the East Midlands by the East Midlands Cancer Alliance.
