Prescription Ordering Direct Update

The flowchart for the process to order prescriptions for exempt patients has now been released and can be found here.
Meir Medical Practice (Dr Borse and Partners) is expected to join the POD being piloted in Meir PCN from the week beginning 15/07/2024. Community Pharmacies need to start collating information for any patients that are exempt from the POD.
Pharmacies are reminded that they must have received practice confirmation before sending any repeat prescription requests for exempt patients and any requests from community pharmacies using non-NHS email addresses will not be processed.
