SSOT Medicines Shortage Guidance

NHS Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board have developed a document to provide guidance for Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Community Pharmacies, GP practice dispensary teams and wider General Practice teams to manage medication shortages collaboratively and minimise potential adverse quality of care. The guidance has been produced as national shortages of prescription medicines continue and in response to a small number of critical incidents resulting from the shortage of commonly prescribed medicines.
